The tree served as a landmark and gathering place throughout much of the city’s first century. If you and your family enjoy fireworks, the Branson area is THE place to be in the days leading up to July 4th. Branson Landing’s 10th Annual Liberty Light Up is Monday, July 3, 2017. The popular event starts with a free concert by Jason Pritchett in the town square followed by a fireworks display over Lake Taneycomo. The fireworks show is also visible from most spots along Main Street. For a unique view of the downtown fireworks, the SKY Deck at Parakeet Pete’s Waterfront Zipline is holding it’s 2nd annual “Fire in the SKY” event beginning at 7:30 p.m. on July 3rd. The area-wide series of events spans the entire region from Downtown Branson to Silver Dollar City to the Bass Pro Outdoor Shooting Academy south of town.
