Feeding/Watching the Wildlife along Lake Taneycomo

Running alongside the Landing is the famously chill Lake Taneycomo. With a smooth paved walking/jogging trail and plenty of benches, you can enjoy the early morning, before the heat sets in, watching the plethora of wildlife that inhabits the lake. Follow the path and you’ll come to the Landing where you can grab an inexpensive cup of coffee too!
Free Downtown Trolley

If you head downtown, especially during the afternoon, utilize the air conditioned free trolley known as Sparky, to get from place to place! It’s a great way to cool off between destinations, with convenient stops all through downtown! Trolley schedule for summer, autumn, and winter is March-December, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily (except on Thanksgiving and Christmas). In January and February the schedule is Friday-Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
