Fall the Perfect Time for a Couple’s Getaway to Downtown Branson

Couple and best friend taking a stroll at North Beach Park in Downtown Branson.

The turning leaves, the wealth of activities… and the great spots to stop and just be together… make Downtown Branson the perfect place for your next couple’s trip or weekend!

Lakefront Fall Foliage

Surrounded by water on three sides, the peninsula that is home to Downtown Branson is perfect for nature lovers. The area’s parks are home to some of the region’s oldest hardwood trees (see North Beach Park), and Lake Taneycomo and Roark Creek offer great waterfront locations for walking, picnics and just hanging out on a park bench.

Downtown Lodging

You can choose to stay directly on the lakefront at the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing, or aross the street is the upscale Hilton Convention Center Hotel.

The Hilton Branson Convention Center is a high-rise hotel with four-star amenities, including restaurants and bars on-site. The hotel is connected to the Branson Convention Center, making it ideal for visitors attending an event at the center. It’s also directly adjacent to Historic Downtown, the train station, Branson Landing. And it’s even got its own Sparky trolley stop!

Across Branson Landing Boulevard from the “big” Hilton is the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. This is also an upscale hotel with a boutique atmosphere. Rooms are more like condos and are located directly over Branson Landing’s stores and restaurants, making this hotel incredibly convenient for those wanting to spend time at The Landing.

Just a few more blocks away is the Best Western Landing View hotel, all great options for couples’ getaways.

Branson’s first and most historic hotel is another great option. Built in 1903 and completely renovated, this small boutique hotel only has 9 rooms, so it feels more like a bed and breakfast (don’t miss the attached Backstage Wine Bar for socializing)!

Outdoor Dining

It’s the perfect time of the year to plan a romantic meal overlooking Lake Taneycomo at one of Downtown’s many restaurants with patio dining! If you choose one at the center of Branson Landing, you will also be treated to a fire and water show at the Branson Landing fountains.
