The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” a musical based on the Victor Hugo novel we have all come to love features songs from the animated Disney adaptation. Don’t miss this spectacular production appearing at the Historic Owen Theatre for two weekends from April 16 through April 26. In additon to the timeless story and amazing music, keep your ears out for verbatim quotes pulled directly from the novel itself. Every great literature fan loves those little details!

“The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged)” is a hilarious trip through all 37 of the Bard’s comedies, histories and tragedies in 97 minutes! Three madcap men in tights will leave audiences in stitches on this irreverent, fast-paced romp, which is London’s longest-running comedy. It’s appearing in Branson for 5 performances May 14 – May 18.

Dance Fundamentals begins its 8-week course in March. Registrations are open for males and females ages 7-18. Every Friday at The Historic Owen Theater kids will learn and practice the basics of jazz and tap dance styles. A wonderful creative outlet for children, dance has helped fine tune coordination skills, balance, control and memory across generations and cultures.

And this is just the Spring! The Branson Arts Council has so much more planned for the wonderful year ahead! We will keep updating you as more is announced.
