The Easy Way to Shop at Branson Landing

Branson Landing Belk Trolley Stop
Trolley Stop #6 at the North End of Branson Landing

On the eastern edge of Downtown Branson is the popular Branson Landing, a mixed-use shopping center that sits on 1.5 miles of the Lake Taneycomo waterfront. The center has more than 100 specialty stores and restaurants and is home to the $7.5 million Branson Landing Fountains, a unique fire and water show that is synced to music.

Smart shoppers can take advantage of the free Sparky trolley system to get to and from Branson Landing, while also exploring the many other great things that downtown has to offer. The trolleys offer front-door drop-off and pick-up at both ends of the Landing.

Stop #2 is located in the circular drive outside of Bass Pro Shops on the southern end of Branson Landing.

Stop #6 is located at the northern end of Branson Landing (near Belk Department Store), at the foot of Parakeet Pete’s Steampunk Balloon.

Shopping

Branson Landing is primarily an outdoor shopping center, with the stores facing inward toward a pedestrian road, the “Promenade.” Anchored at the north end by Belk Department Store and at the south end by Bass Pro Shops, the development contains several dozen other specialty shops.

Among the things you’ll find here are clothing, shoes, jewelry, books, health and beauty, specialty items and more.

Dining

Visitors to Branson Landing also will find nearly a dozen restaurants and pubs, as well as several shops that feature desserts and treats!

You’ll find American fare, steaks, seafood, regional fish, Mexican food, barbecue and more! There also are several bars and pubs that are great places to hang out with friends late into the night or watch your favorite team’s game.

Branson Landing Fountains

The Branson Landing Fountains are one of the top free attractions in the city. Located in the “Town Square” at the center of Branson Landing (directly east of the intersection of Main Street and Branson Landing Boulevard), the display plays every hour starting at noon and continuing until the stores close (the first show is always the Star Spangled Banner, so be sure to pause and put your hand over your heart!). Each hour features a different fire and water show that is synced to music. The specific shows change seasonally.

Boardwalk

Another popular free attraction downtown is the Boardwalk, a 1.5 mile paved walkway along the Lake Taneycomo waterfront. It’s one of the best places in town to walk a pet, take a jog or ride a bike.

On the north end of the Boardwalk is North Beach Park, a picturesque city park with old-growth trees, benches, picnic tables, fishing docks and lots of room for throwing frisbees, playing horseshoes or having a picnic. On the south end of the boardwalk, the walkway continues to the Lakeside RV Park, which has fishing docks and is home to Trolley Stop #1.

Because Lake Taneycomo is a cold-water lake, the temperature is always little cooler along the boardwalk, which is a popular with walkers and joggers during the warm summer months!

There’s more to downtown!
