Sparky Starts New Color-Coded Routes on Nov. 7th

To better serve our riders, the free "Sparky" Downtown Branson trolley is dividing its previous single-loop route into two color-coded routes. The new covered trolley stop at Liberty Plaza will serve as a transfer point between the two routes. The new trolley routes are coded by color and are easier to follow. The eastern route, or "lower downtown," includes the historic downtown, Branson Landing, convention center and Lakeside RV Park and is served by the 8-stop Orange Route. The western portion, or "upper downtown," includes stops at hotels, stores, restaurants and the Taneyhills Library and is served by the 5-stop Green Route. Transferring between the two routes can be done at Liberty Plaza (Stop O8-G1), which has a covered trolley stop to shelter riders from the weather. The trolleys now…

The beginning of 2018 was an exciting time for the city of Branson. The new year came with a mention in the New York Times where Branson landed at No. 21 on the "52 Places to Go in 2018" worldwide list, among destinations such as New Orleans, Columbia and Bhutan. The city, as a whole, was cited for Silver Dollar City's new coaster "Time Traveler" and it's many amazing shows, including The Haygoods. And the Missouri Sales Tax Holiday weekend is a great time to stock up on clothes and those important back-to-school items! Missouri's annual "back to school" state tax-free weekend happens every year on the first full weekend in August. During this three-day period, you can purchase school supplies, clothing and computers without paying the state portion of the sales tax (4.225%). Sparky a Great Resource for Branson Bridal Show Attendees

The annual Branson Bridal Show is Feb. 12, 2017, at the Branson Convention Center, and downtown Branson's free trolley is a great resource for brides-to-be and other attendees. The show is Sunday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and admission is free and features the area's top wedding professionals like photographers, planners, DJs, venues, caterers, cakes, florists and more.
