Branson and Sparky Honor Law Enforcement

Branson Law Enforcement Week
The Light Cruise at Branson Landing gives the public a chance to honor law enforcement officers.

For the 4th year, the Branson area is paying tribute to active and retired law enforcement personnel and their families with a week-long series of events to honor those who serve and protect. Branson’s Law Enforcement Recognition Week is June 10-17, 2017.

The area-wide series of events spans the entire region from Downtown Branson to Silver Dollar City to the Bass Pro Outdoor Shooting Academy south of town. While they are downtown, Sparky’s free trolley service is available to these honored guests.

The week-long tribute kicks off Saturday, June 10, with an offroad 5k and 10k race on the White River Valley Trail System across from the Showboat Branson Belle. Members of the public will be running alongside law enforcement personnel in this competition-timed fundraiser.

On Sunday, there is a church service, social mixer and special event at Silver Dollar City. Events resume on Wednesday with a shooting competition at the new Bass Pro’s Outdoor Shooting Academy near Big Cedar Lodge, south of Branson. On Thursday, there’s a “Law on the Links” golf tournament at Ledgestone Golf Course and an 8 p.m. Light Cruise at the Branson Landing where the public can pay tribute to these officers.

On Friday, there’s a keynote banquet at the Radisson Hotel and a collector’s show on Saturday. Also on Saturday is a motorcycle competition in the Branson Hills Home Depot’s parking lot where the public can watch these skilled drivers navigate an obstacle course.

The Motorcycle Training competition will be held in the Home Depot parking lot at Branson Hills.
